We have been using this Wi-Fi range extender for at least the last two years. Not once has it malfunctioned. That, for us, is the biggest plus.

We live in a two storey house. The router is on the lower floor, and the Wi Fi signal on the top floor was never reliable. The connection would keep dropping. Pages would take time to load. At times, the internet would disconnect completely. Over time, this became quite irritating.

Around the same period, as our child grew and started moving around more, we were anyway making small changes at home. We added things like furniture corner and edge protectors for safety. Fixing the Wi Fi issue also slowly became part of that process of making the house more comfortable and functional for everyday life.

At first, we tried adjusting the router position. We also tried managing with it, thinking it was something we could live with. But the problem kept coming back, especially on the top floor. So we finally decided to look for a proper solution.

We searched online for Wi-Fi range extenders and came across this TP-Link one. After reading a bit, we decided to give it a try.

Setting it up was relatively easy. We did not need any outside help. Once it was installed, the improvement was immediate. The signal strength on the top floor became much better. The frequent disconnections stopped. The internet experience became stable, which is all we were really looking for.

Since then, we have been using it continuously. It has remained switched on most of the time. Over these two years, we have not faced any issues with it. There were no sudden failures, no repeated resets, and no unexpected problems. It has simply worked in the background. Over time, this became one of those everyday household items we stopped thinking about, much like the thermos flask we regularly use while travelling.

Another small thing we liked was how it looks. It sits neatly on the wall and does not look odd or out of place. That may not be important to everyone, but we appreciated it.

We have written about a few other things that worked well for us at home, including toys like the deformation stunt car our toddler enjoyed a lot.

Overall, we have had an excellent experience with this Wi-Fi range extender. It solved a real problem we were facing at home and has continued to do so without creating new ones. We genuinely have no complaints.
