Pigeon Amaze Plus Electric Kettle 1.5 L Usage Review

This Pigeon electric kettle is another product that has been part of our home for quite some time now. We have used it many times and almost everyone in the family has used it at some point. It is not a new brand for us either. We have owned a Pigeon kettle earlier as well.

The earlier one we had was a smaller kettle. It served us well for years without any complaints. When it finally became time to replace it, we did not think much. We went with Pigeon again. This Amaze Plus model is the one we bought later.

This kettle is simple and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Boiling water is quick and easy. The kettle still works perfectly fine and there has been no issue with performance so far. It switches off automatically once the water boils, which is something we rely on every day.

One thing that some health conscious members in our family pointed out was the metal portion at the bottom of the lid. When the water boils, hot steam rises and touches that metal area. They were slightly concerned about it. Personally, I do not see this as a major issue. It has not affected our usage in any way and the water tastes absolutely normal.

Apart from that one observation, there are no complaints at all. The build quality feels decent, the handle is comfortable to hold, and the kettle feels stable when placed on the base. We have used it for making tea, coffee, and even just hot water, and it has handled all of that well.

One thing worth mentioning is that we tend to stick with Pigeon kettles in general. This is not the first one we bought and most likely will not be the last. Our experience with the brand has been consistent. This larger kettle performs just as well as the smaller one we used earlier.

If you are looking for a basic electric kettle that does the job without complications, this one fits that need well. We have been using it for a long time now and it continues to work as expected.
