Aquaguard Water Purifier Review

This water purifier is from Aquaguard. Before this, we were using another Aquaguard water purifier as well. So this is not our first experience with the brand.

The older Aquaguard purifier worked fine, but one thing we always noticed was the waiting time. Whenever we wanted water, we had to wait for a while before the water actually came out. It was not a major issue, but it was something we dealt with daily.

What is different in this Aquaguard purifier

The biggest difference with this water purifier is how the water comes out. In this model, there is no waiting time at all.

Whenever we want water, all we have to do is place a glass and use the handle.

If we push the handle, water comes out only as long as we keep holding it.
If we pull the handle, we can release it and the water will continue to flow until we push the handle back to its original position.

Built-in water storage

This water purifier has an internal section that stores water. Because of this stored water, we do not have to wait for purification every time we want to drink water. This is something we really like about this model.

I do not remember the exact storage capacity of the internal tank, and I do not want to guess or mention a number here. But in regular household use, the stored water has been more than sufficient for us.

Looks versus performance

To be honest, this water purifier does not look very great. It is functional, but it is not something you would buy mainly for its design.

We were actually planning to buy an LG water purifier because it looked much better. However, the sales representative informed us that the LG model might not work properly if there is not enough water pressure. Based on our situation, he advised us to go with this Aquaguard model instead.

Looking back, that advice turned out to be correct.

Daily usage experience

In terms of performance, this water purifier has been very good so far. There have been no issues and no complaints from our side.

The water also feels noticeably better when we drink from this purifier. It feels clean and light, and overall the drinking experience has been good.

Final thoughts
