Sebamed Baby Shampoo Review: Our Experience Using It for Our Son

When it came to choosing a shampoo for our baby, we were cautious. Shampoo is not something you use very often on a newborn, but when you do use it, you want to be sure it will not cause any irritation.

We chose Sebamed baby shampoo for the same reason we chose the soap. It was mild, and my wife was comfortable with it from the beginning.

The first time we used it, I was slightly concerned. Like most parents, I was worried about whether it would irritate his eyes. Babies tend to move around during a bath, and it is difficult to ensure that nothing gets into their eyes.

We did not use shampoo every day. We used it only when we felt it was needed. Each time we used it, the experience was the same. It was gentle, and it did not seem to cause any dryness or irritation to his scalp.

Over time, we became quite sure about this choice.

When the shampoo was over, there was no confusion about what to buy next. We bought the same Sebamed Baby Shampoo again. That, for us, says a lot. With many baby products, there is always a temptation to try something new. In this case, we did not feel the need to experiment.

Looking back, Sebamed baby shampoo turned out to be one of those products that quietly did its job. It cleaned well, remained gentle, and did not cause any issues. We also used Sebamed Baby Cream Extra Soft in case of dryness on his legs. 

This does not mean this shampoo will suit every child. Every baby is different. I am only sharing our experience and why we were comfortable sticking with it.
